A classic brownstone with many of its original interior ornamentation and woodwork intact, it was previously broken up into apartments and in some rooms painted entirely black. A re-look into the ideal plan against the client’s programmatic wishes lends itself to reconfiguring the current layout to a triplex with a garden apartment below. It will include also a look into best use of the roof as an active space and a total interior renovation to bring the original detailing back to its glory.
